Ask this rainman how many blades of grass are between his ball and the hole, if he can tell you - head to Vegas.
I pay little attention during practice - then again, I've twice been accused of being rude. Once when it was windy and tiny bits of my little divots (I hit very shallow ones... most of the time) were flying into the people behind me. They gave me looks so I moved further down the range. They still complained. Like WTF am I to do about the wind? The range to the other side of them was full, I had no options. They were spraying the people behind them as well.
Another time was when KenK and myself met up for a round in Orlando (as we always did in December, before he passed 😥 ) and were having a chat on the range as we hit balls before our round. The guy next to us was absolutely disgusted that we had the gall to talk on the range. Gave us stares, let out exasperated gasps, and finally moved far away once he realized we gave zero fucks. Ok snowflake - move on.
I don't know what I was trying to say here, or the moral of the story. Must be the scotch.
