Walterjn I still believe that one can play curling into old age and more than likely be competitive.
It's what old people do in Canada in the winter. Rather than hockey at an advanced age cuz non-checking hockey is non-sport. ☺
Defender Caroline “KK” Harvey, right wing Kirsten Simms and goalie Ava McNaughton are present day Wisconsin Badgers on the women's hockey team and forward-turned defender and current Badger Laila Edwards is part of the team. Alumna forward Britta Curl-Salemme and five-time Olympian and forward Hilary Knight round out the Badgers’ representation. So 1/4 of the USA women's team are Badgers.
Jordan Stolz Kewaskum, WI gives a good account for himself in the 1000 winning Gold! If he skated 5 events as Eric Heiden Madison, WI did in the 1980 Lake Placid Winter Olympics.
