I have tried a dozen Felon balls. I play alone so don't worry about non-conforming . My usual ball lately is callaway chrome soft or super soft . The Felon is as long to about 5 or 10 yds at most longer for me. I liked them just fine. Might try them again sometime as all of them went into hiding, somewhere ? Maybe out in fantasy land. I was not scientific, just checked a few drives with both Felon and a Super soft callaway from same tee box. Distance, trajectory , feel was fine for me . My swing is only 85 mph or less so probably can't get much out of them.
I'd like to hear what anyone else thought of them too.
I'm not picky though , I'll play a top rock distance ball if the temperature is 80+.

Thanks Provisional. Good information. I have a sleeve coming from DTG. You're in Hattiesburg? I work in Huntsville and live north of Florence, AL. We go through Hattiesburg on our way to N.O. Louisiana and we love the Ripley, MS flea market.

govols there is not a discount code perse, but if you call them up and let them know you are from buzz they will set your account up for discount pricing and you will automatically get the discounted price if one is offered.....in the case of the felon ball it would be 17.99.....the discount varies by product and there isn't always one depending on product....you can tell the price by looking below the regular price and it will say, either, "as low as" or "buy 1 for". You have to be signed in to your account and it will adjust price in cart automatically.

If you want to play a bit of golf on your way through here ,
I'm retired so most times can be free . My index is 22 so lots of ball chasing entertainment, painful for low capper . I'm public course guy too, but Shadow Ridge GC and
Timberton GC are close by, decently maintained , cheap, and fun. TEE times almost always available , not too crowded.

Only prob might be having to play with this old Bama guy, so if I make a good golf shot , hearing Roll Tide!
I'd be glad for having Buzzer playing partner .
I might have some Polara straight fly balls left too.

You should try the mg "senior" balls that Rex linked. Size/weight normal. Deemed non-conforming due to initial velocity being too high. The regular C4 mg balls are really nice; I've bought them and played them before, so I trust the company.

        Plus, they're only $19.99/dozen.

One of my buds who has been playing MG balls for years tried the senior MG last week and doesn't like them as well as the other MG ball he had been playing.

Haha....I hear rol# tid@ all the time at work. See I can't even type it. You might hear me yell "Go Vols" occasionally. Well maybe not so much as I'm far from a good player. Sounds like we'd be equally matched. And I'm also a cheap golfer. I like public courses during cheap hours and look for discount specials all the time. I play with a completely different attitude than I did when I was more serious about it. If I hit a bad shot...no, when I hit a bad shot, it absolutely doesn't bother me at all. I'm just glad to be out on the course.

rsvman Read your suggestion, so I bought a dozen MG Seniors . Played 18 practice holes them Pine Creek , Purvis, MS today . Good suggestion ! At least as good as advertised for me. Old reshafted Ping G15 was kicking !

No warm up , decent drive on #1. Felt good, even off toe. Feels , sounds more like the new Top Flight Distance ball than anything else.

4 hybrid 170 yd to front of green on #2 , Texas wedge , two putt.
Almost drove green on #4. Lob wedge approach .
On in regulation #5, low approach with lob wedge one hop spin stop. YES!
Deep slice on #6 but in bounds. High 9 iron to front of green .

          Long pull on#7.
Long pull on #8 just left of FW. Switch to lost &found ball over pond off pine straw.

Good long drives mostly 200+ carry , didn't check distances, but thinking nearly 20 yds longer than my Callaway super soft balls ., and even better, past my partner's balls, who always out drives me with his 10.5 * Tmag slider. Had him adjusting loft of his club looking for more.

Yes , I did confess it was non- conforming to him. Didn't offer him one though .
Let the honeymoon continue ! Please.

Any updates on your experience with Felons?
I'm still honeymooning my dozen of MG Seniors. Two rounds with them and have not lost one. Very unusual for me! I did however substitute a despensible lost &found ball across water hazards, else MG would be drowned.
They play long and firm much like Top Flight Distance ball, but have decent spin around greens . I still like um. I don't have any Felons left for direct comparison sadly. All gone bye bye .

I got a chance to play the MG balls this weekend. An older guy I teamed up with had them. For me at least they were a big disappointment. I hit two balls when possible and the MG was shorter every time. Maybe I just put better swings on the other balls, but for me, nothing to write home about.

              garyt1957 sorry mg balls disappointed

I'm still liking my mg seniors but haven't tried any real scientific comparisons, probably will not either.
I'm wanting to try the Volvic vivids now.

Rainbow chasing , that's golf equipment in two words.

I traded him a Vivid for one so I'll give them another go.

FInally tried out the DTG Felon golf balls. Here are my observations: Mid ball flight. Definitely longer by at least a club or two (depending on how well I hit the face of the driver). The greens were soaked by recent rains and very soft so I have no idea how well they stop. They roll quite a way after landing even with softish fairways.

My playing partner has about a 75-80 mph swing I'm guessing due to the distance of his driver. They didn't go farther for him. He may have even lost a few yards.

The weird thing, I was getting quite a bit more distance with my 3W. I'm not sure why but the ball was a missle off the fairway. But then again I was swinging it well today.

                  Felon:
"So long, it's criminal " but,
I think i like MG Seniors better, feel wise- not as hard-,
Better higher trajectory for me, I'm a low ball hitter .

The MG Senior is shockingly good. Great feel, spin, & distance. Easily the equal of
some high priced, premium balls. Oh...their MG Elite glove is excellent also. IMO.

I tried the MG Senior again yesterday and still mixed results. Nobody around so I could hit two on every hole. I never hit two on the same hole the same efficiency to really compare. Everytime I hit one on the screws with one ball I'd slightly mishit the next one. I will say the two longest drives I hit were with the MG, one by about 20 yards so maybe there's something there. But no "wow" factor for me and certainly not consistently longer on all swings.
