rsvman2 Ok, so we returned the LG and bought a Samsung.
Now we can't get the tv to set up. 🤷♂️ It keeps saying that the Smart Hub is updating, but it just stays on 0% the whole time.
TVs are so frustrating, anymore!
Also, Samsung has very good tech support. Have had to call them with set up issues etc. and they’ve always been helpful.
And yes modern TV’s are frustrating. One reason we like Samsung is the newer ones come with our cable / streaming services App (Spectrum) pre installed. Only brand that does.
With our older models Samsung had to hold my hand and walk me thru it to get that installed.
We returned a Visio for my mother in law this past summer. Not because of anything wrong with picture quality. But because there were too many steps for her (she’s 89) to get where she wanted to go.
Returned it to Sam’s Club and got her a Samsung and eliminated the need for written instructions for her to turn her TV on and navigate. lol
