So, we went with the LG. Bought it in July. Great picture. Had a couple of small issues with it off and on, but otherwise were happy until yesterday.
I'm in the middle of the Cowboys-Panthers game when all of a sudden a dark curtain gets pulled over the picture. Did I say dark? I meant to say black. As in completely black. So there is no picture at all, but sound is still coming out.
At first I thought it was a problem with the camera at the game, but they were going to a commercial and when the commercial came on, it was still a black screen. I changed channels, but still black.
We tried troubleshooting, rebooting it, etc, but to no avail. It is now just a very large paperweight.
Luckily, we bought it at Costco and it hasn't been 90 days yet, so I think we will get a full refund. It is currently in the back of my car.
I knew we should have gone with the Toshiba!
