CallMeAl Some, but not sure what degree...
And this is why I wonder about using forward press when putting. Putting is a very short stroke.
Too much, miss right? Not enough, miss left? If I'm understanding the whole process.
You might also see balls jumping, hopping instead of rolling smoothly. Never a good thing.
imo, LAB took the 'too much/not enough' out of the equation by coming out with their grip. I don't think people are giving it a chance to do what they intended it to do. When I had my LAB with their grip, I just held it/stroked it as I do my normal putter, grip straight up/down, which kept the loft always the same. I think loft may be the key when players miss putts as they change it by however they hold & deliver the face to the ball....consistently, I'll add.
Pros may use forward press but keeping in mind they may hit more putts in a month than we may hit in years. And they still are not that good at putting(averages/statistics).
Maybe I'm missing something, but I'll never change the way I putt. And will never use forward press when doing so.
Then again, some of this golf shit is Greek to me. Sometimes.😉
