Typhoon No I tried the line on the ball years ago and didn't like it. I was mainly playing a cr*ppy town course and it was difficult to set the ball down and not have it immediately shift slightly. I would keep trying to get the ball to stay put, but it was too annoying and if I take too long over any shot it usually doesn't end well.
Ideally I like a ballwidth white stripe with a black line down the center. That just looks good to me and I can visualize a white path to the hole or use the black line for putts that are not quite center of the hole. It worked well for me last year once I started forward pressing again. I made a lot more birdies than usual and won a lot more pro shop credit too.
Using the Oz putter is different though. It needs a softer grip and I don't have to forward press with the offset grip. That might be throwing me off though trying to go from a regular putter to the ZT type and changing the forward press. I am not gifted enough at golf to make setup changes lol.
