Zero Torque Putters

Who has tried/ uses one? Does it work? Did you adjust your stroke as recommended?

I’ve tried several. I’m not a fan of the Odyssey models, the shaft lean feels very uncomfortable. The way up putters feel a little better, but still I’m not a fan of the shaft lean. I really like the tailor-made spider ZT, I’m just not ready to spend $500 on it.

I really like the reverse hosel even roll model. built one myself, using the left-handed, Golfworks hosel. It’s not quite zero torque, but close. I really like it and put pretty well with it.

Does trying one in a store count?? I hit one a few times in a store, and sank everything i hit with it. I left the store without it. I've kept my LogicAlone v2 in the bag.
I figured that in the store, I've hit many putts that dropped, im not about to drop $600 only to find out the putter doesn't get along with the rest of my clubs.
Besides, I really like my v2 as it is.

No… yesterday i grabbed an OG Cameron Futura that was on the used rack… but it was lefty. I canned 6 8 footers in a row. I didn’t buy it because I’m a righty. ( I did own one in righty a while ago… been pondering buying one again but I have too many putters)

I keep trying them but haven't really cared for any. The PXG one was my favorite. I've always hated CS putters so that's probably part of it. Most have horrible sightlines IMO and they also feel odd, but I do like how the stroke feels easier.

I really want to try one with the offset putter grip. I have been putting much better lately and I think it's because I have been adding some shaft lean to my putter setup.

Well, I've hopped on the zero torque bandwagon and after trying all the zero torque putters at golftown, I settled on a bettinardi. I liked the sb1 slightly more than the sb2 but the demo sale they were having only had an sb2 in the counterbalance version that I wanted. First test is tomorrow but preliminary findings are encouraging putting on my carpet at home. I'll report back, hopefully with good things to say😁

Well, 2 rounds in and I would say that there definitely is something to this low torque/no torque technology. I wouldn't say its drastically different but it does appear to be a little easier to hit the ball on the intended line as all you need to do is relax and take a very light grip and let the putter do the work. Most of my misses yesterday were just poor reads but I did pull a couple of putts which is my normal miss too. The bettinardi I have feels great and is much easier to look at than the LAB putters. For me, my typical misses are pulled putts and I can still do this with a low torque putter, but when I remember to follow through and go straight back and straight through, I am hitting my line a little easier I think. Overall, I do think the putter will help me and inspire confidence and this is probably the biggest benefit in my opinion. Is it worth the money? Well, that's hard to say -how much is having a little more confidence in putting worth? Its like buying a new $500 driver to gain a little forgiveness and a few yards or spending big bucks on a Scotty. Nothing is ever really worth it but we do it anyways lol. I know I could probably score very similarly with older decent clubs that have minimal value but where's the fun in that right?

I would highly recommend anyone that moves to a low/zero torque putter do LABs thumbs off drill on YouTube.

I no longer have my thumbs on the grip while putting.

Cwing link?.....I am 10 finger and both thumbs on the flat part......probably would feel very weird....but then again I'm not LAB🙃
