Try the feel of the right palm down at impact (or feel the left wrist is in flexion). Or the feel that the top of the club beats the bottom of the club to the ball. Both of these are delofting feels.
Doesn’t matter how you take it back. But if you wanted to take it back shut, just bend your right wrist back right from the get go and feel like it stays in the extended position the entire time. It won’t, but that’s the feel.
Could also try moving the ball back a bit in setup which will give more forward shaft lean at set up. Any of these should help stop flipping the club too early. Good luck. 👍
Btw. You can play with a flip and hit it just as far. Just cock your wrists very early in the back swing. Then flip / throw that right wrist at the ball. You won’t take much of a divot if any, but the ball can fly high and long with a well timed flip / throw.
