Typhoon
Typhoon Candukid is gonna be laughing at youse.
Hopefully, not me. I think they could be the real thing, although those shafts may have just been something they had to use as what they had on hand.
He said 5th gen, so I assume they are 3 yrs. old. Even shipping from Hong Kong, they could have come from anywhere, from anyone, that would buy up excess stock for pennies. Distributors do not want to be left eating $$ at the end of year cycles. They will move them as best they can. OEMs are much like people in D.C......they may act like they care in public, but behind the scenes they do what's best for their 'company'.
I've had brand new OEM heads lie/lofts changed to suit me. Some were out of sight for being on spec. Never check any swingweights as I pay no attention to it, just go by feel. But when you hit 2 different irons the same distances every time......
Only if he would weigh individual heads, and stated the 6i was around 265g, would I say they are fake AF. Iron heads are super light today, and the past few years. Lie angles, lofts can be out of whack and that would not prove anything but bad QC, but be 'typical' imo.
But, those damn shafts..........🤣
