Eguller Congrats. The Steelfiber are still the king vs. the MMT IMHO. Dispersion slightly better and feel definitely more pleasing. Again IMO. 🏌️♂️
Spot on Dan 1000%. Yesterday I was in a hurry and just wanted to hit each head to see what I liked better. The shaft in there was a KBS Tour Lite stiff. Launch was 20.5, ball speed 112 at best.
Last night I was going through some shaft info and my tendencies. I flip a little at impact which gives me the higher launch angle at 20.5. So looking at shafts I knew I could go with a low launch shaft and not be too low… I fact probably perfect. That rules out the Steelfiber FC 95CW and the Dart. I was thinking ok the Steelfiber i95 regular or the i80 stiff. A lot of LPGA players use the i80 and the i95 regular. The only thing that worries me about the i80 was it being too light. I’d be going from 118 grams I have now down to 85. Too much of a jump. Rules that one out today.
Got on outdoor Trackman with 15 balls. First one I hit with the i95 regular felt so good.. could feel it load and the height was perfect. Launch came down to 17-18. Peak height 90-95 feet so even though the spin tile wasn’t up, I was fine knowing I had the height to stop the ball and could tell eyeballing the ballflight that it didn’t spin too much. Ball speed also was up over 122-124.
So I’ll be going with that shaft
