Pretty sure I'm close to the edge. It was installed late July.

sdandrea1 can you get access to the wires at the controller? If so can you cross wires there and see if 7 or 9 work when hooked to 8? Then either the controller has a dead zone, or a broken wire for 8. If it still doesn't work, try wires from 7 or 9 to 8... that might help eliminate a broken wire, if sprinklers work wired to zone 7 or 9...

Yes, ez access at the controller. Idea has merit. Thanks Walter 👍. If I wasn't under warranty, I'd dig deeper. I'm gonna give the installer a chance to fix it, but I'm REAL curious as to what's going on.

Walterjn Ahead of me, spent most of the morning searching how to fix my Prius battery, nothing like the videos and always one more thing wrong. Plus the battery in the rear quarter panel because that makes it harder to access.

Bases use to have Auto Hobby shops we can use, always some dude there that knows everything and bored just hangs around to help. Free tools and nice equipment with lifts.

Typhoon Many times I think this, 2007 w/197,000 miles. Only keep it when my oldest son is around, plus nice to have a backup ride. Friggin hybrid and battery are not straightforward to figure out what is the issue.

Car message was a parking brake issue but really that means bad battery. (I know now)

Replace hybrid battery at 175K, no reason to get rid of it.

Very manly car, still goes over 100 mph.😎
