This is huge imo. I also have a Medicare Advantage PPO plan thru the company I retired from. We each have a yearly deductible of $300 dollars and my wife and I are capped at $1700 dollars each per year.
It’s essentially the same plan when I was working only I had a Copay for office visits, but no deductible to satisfy. Now we have no Copay, but a deductible.
I too pay monthly out of my pension, but every Medicare Insurance company I spoke to said I was better off staying with my company Medicare plan. My complaints aren’t with my Medicare plan.
Oh, and we got to keep the same dental plan, but lost our vision plan. The dental plan was never anything great. But it’s at least something. I too am greatful.
