RIP, J. Geils. Thanks for helping me navigate the erotic dreamscape and horniness of my teenage youth.

Sad,saw him and Peter Wolf/Magic Dick play many times at the LB Sports Arena.
"Love Stinks" a classic!

Sorry he passed, but I must be one of the only people on earth who didn't care for the J. Geils band at all. I used to change the station when their stuff came on the radio. Especially hated "Freeze Frame," and "Angel is a Centerfold," both of which got played ad nauseum.

Still, RIP, John.

I spent many hours listening to The J. Geils band on my stereo and on my car's 8 track and CD player. Their music never failed to get a party in high gear. I believe I still have an album or two of theirs somewhere in the house even though I no longer have a turntable to play it on. RIP J. Geils.

I was never a big fan, but their music got played a lot at keggers when I was in college.

The live version of "musta got lost" is crazy good. It's on the live album. Back cover said "made loud to play loud" and "We are going to blow your face off"... The common stuff from the 80's....blah.
