We bought a refurbished Mini PC in 2018 and it cannot go to Windows 11.

I am looking at new computers, but the way the processors are labeled and everything, it is really had to understand the speed of one vs another these days.

Does anyone know of any good comparison charts of the different Intel processors and platforms?

People are talking as if Windows 10 will self-explode this fall, which I'm sure is exactly what MicroSoft wants you to believe. That is not going to happen. The warranty for my 2015 vehicle expired 9 years ago, but it still working fine so I am still going to drive it until it doesn't. If Windows 10 is working for you now, then I'm sure it will continue to work for you in 2026. No reason to change until it stops working for you.

My little PC is getting bogged down by daily tasks, which are not difficult tasks, just normal browsers and such, so it's time for us. Or will be soon. It's still working, just noticeably having speed issues because of the increasingly memory hogging of programs.

Why wait for something to break if there is an easy work-around? I am just poking around at this point looking for options. That is why I posted this thread.

Rickochet That's just it , Rick. I don't fault anyone for upgrading and if I need to I will. I'm just not sure I'll need to.

For me the main issue with not upgrading is you may be more susceptible to malware and other security issues.
