Callaway Apex uw equivalent?

Greetings geezers. Here's the story - I am loving my OG apex uw 19 deg. As I play single length irons it fits in seamlessly as it is a heavier head (235g) and plays at about 41" (shorter than your typical 5 wood). I struggle with anything past a 5 iron and have only had intermittent success with a 4 hybrid or driving iron. My ideal club would be another apex uw at 23 deg but these are jdm only and unicorns and priced accordingly at around $275-$300 so I am looking for cheaper alternatives if possble. I haven't tried a 23/24 deg fairway yet so that's an option but would prefer something like a uw - any components (current or oldies) that are along the same lines?

If anyone has something interesting to sell, let me know too...

IMO, the Wishon 775 HS would be the closest in footprint, face height, and functionality. It's not quite as mini fwy wood as the UW but it's close. .335 as I believe the UW is as well.

The Maltby KE4 Tc HyWay Utility is still available in 23, although I suspect it will have a bigger footprint. It is .335.

Acer XDS React will be even more of a mini fwy look then the UW and could work. .370, but you could shim a .335 shaft if need be. The prior model XDS would also work. I might have one in my stable🤔

Thanks. I might still have the wishon 775 24 deg - I used to play those hybrids, not sure why i stopped lol. The Hyway utility is peaking my interest - I think thats the way to go - thanks!

The HyWay is kind of a cool utility. It has the face width of a fairway wood, but the front to back is more like a hybrid. It is easy to hit. For me it couldn't knock my Rogue X hybrid out though.

Good to hear. I think this confirms my search for a 23 deg - hopefully I can grab a used one so I don't have to pay full retail 😜
