There are actually two tournaments running. The World Championship and the Born Hairy (Korn Ferry). You get to go to Vegas by being "eligible" You become eligible by playing in a total of 5 events three of which must be this season. Next is to become "qualified". There are several ways to become qualified: Be a chapter leader, win an event, finish in the top 10 of your chapters money list, or finish in the top 16 of the previous years Born Hairy. After everybody who is eligible is ranked they begin to fill the championship field. If there are still spots left (288 total) they start taking 11th on the chapter list, then 12th, and so on until the field is full. Everybody else who doesn't get into the championship field plays in the Born Hairy. The championship is played at Revere Country Club (two 18 hole courses and the Born Hairy is held at the Arroyo Golf Course. Both are outstanding courses.

B'LOW AVERAGE CHALLENGE (B.A.C)

B'Low Average Challenge (B.A.C.) Rules: *Every beer or shot consumed on the course takes a stroke off of your score *You must consume your beverages throughout your round. You cannot wait until the end of your round to consume all your beverages *There will be two scorecards for each group, one for your score and one for your beverages. *Both cards must be turned in for your score to count *Handicaps will be used *Peoria Pines is a Par 63 course so if you shoot under a 70 you are DQ'd *You are not required to partake in adult beverages to play in this event but you will not be eligible to win and get your name on the bad ass trophy. Please drink responsibly.

By placing last or by being the best of the mediocrity? Does he get kicked out of the MGA for winning? Kinda cancels the mediocrity when you win, right? I used to race C class motocross, enduro, hare scrambles and trials. If I won an event, they kicked me up to B class. I'm actually serious about how this works. Seems like fodder for sand bagging. I'm guessing if your handicap drops under some threshold, you're out?
