jsippy73 What is the red plug? Is that to keep the epoxy from going up inside the shaft?
The G425 Max I am repairing/reshafting for my brother had the exact same red “plug” at the tip of shaft…before I extracted the broken shaft tip from the adapter the red plug appeared to have a small nipple in the center of it that was maybe 1/4 inch or so long that obviously went up inside the tip of shaft. I don’t know why Ping is using these.
