Hard to imagine it's here, looking for to this week......calling for some serious winds for Thurs and Fri.....I think the winning score will be less than -10 and will bring some of the more scrappy guys into the mix!

I'm certain that of the log jam of players at -2, not all will make the cut. Hagestad needs to bring his 'a' game tomorrow too. There are some really good players at -3 and below that will be chomping at the bit to make the weekend field. But I would agree, he easily has the best chance of the 5 amateurs to make the cut.

Thank you for taking the time to put the official contest page together. Hats off...

As it stands right now I only have 2 guys making the cut.

Hoffman seems to have put the train back on the tracks and leads with -4. That has made the cut line +6 (10 stroke rule is used at The Masters). There are 15 golfers on the cut line as of 2:30p Augusta time and would not be in the top 50 if the leader at the end of the day is -5 or better.

I got 4 in, and 3 are top 6. My AM just made it in, so hope he plays his ass off the next 2 days.

When I wrote that, there were 56 players IIRC that were at +5. There were another 15 tied at +6 so within the 10 stroke rule making for a potential 71 players making the cut when the leader was at -4. As the scores continued to go up in the afternoon, +6 eventually moved inside the Top 50 making the 10 stroke inclusion rule meaningless this year, if I understand it and applied it correctly.

The Masters is the only major with the 10 stroke rule. I read it on the internet so I know it is true. <grin>
