People keep secrets, horses don't. And within 10 minutes of "knowing" a horse, you know everything about it. You can spend half of your life getting to "know" someone and really not know them at all.

I wouldn't say I hate it. I enjoy traveling the state and experiencing what is local, as it relates to golf, food, and local brewery or taproom. Sometimes it exceeds expectations. Not a fan of airplanes, airports, and large sums of people....in small doses it's ok! Try to make the best of it!

I just returned from Chicago yesterday. Flew there to visit our daughter & some friends. The trip reminded me how much I dislike air travel anymore. It was fairly enjoyable when I first flew commercial 40 some years ago. I’ve been fortunate to have made 2 trips to the UK, so far. We will likely make another trip there in the next few years - though I’m not looking forward to the long flight there.

Other than the unpredictability of it (cancelling flights or delaying long enough to miss a connection) I don't mind air travel. I'd rather spend 5 hours in airports and airplanes than behind the wheel. Once autonomous driving cars are considered safe that my change for me though. Love the idea of telling the car to take me somewhere and then it does.

My idea of a good vacation is my wife and I get into the car with the idea of a destination but no real timeline.
We drive where we want to each day and when we get someplace we want to stay for the night (or two) we stay there.
When we decide to leave that location we do so. We finally end up at our destination and stay for as long as we want to and then head home like we did in heading to our destination. We haven't been able to do this many times but that's my preferred way to travel.

Them stomp your right foot after saying that, turn, walk away.
It is sometimes what husbands have to do. Wives like doing that every day.(so it sometimes seems)
Even when the husbands are not home.😉

We're homebodies. When we put our pool in (in) 2005 we said no more vacations. We already live in a vacation destination. Went to Hawaii in 2013, but it was basically free because my sister is a Disney vacation member.

I never like driving very far for anything. Always lived close to work etc.. The furthest we drive now is ~ 3 hours when my family comes down to their vacation home across the state on the east coast of Florida. We'll be going over their this month.

We did all our traveling when we were young before we bought a home. No desire to go anywhere now.
