sdandrea1 Bravopilot That is not a WEEK That bag will get me through to next Thursday....... probably........maybe.
Bravopilot sdandrea1 I assume you change clubs for your Monday afternoon walk? Does your knee allow walking still?
sdandrea1 Bravopilot I assume you change clubs for your Monday afternoon walk? Does your knee allow walking still? I made it 9 holes this week. Hurts going downhill mostly. Our course has 3 long downhill treks in the 18. Doc is fitting me for an "unloader" brace. I don't change clubs for the walk as I'm using a Sun Mountain push cart.
VigilanteTrail VigilanteTrail except for two clubs As mentioned…the 2 clubs that have made the 2025 cut thus far: Callaway Apex UW (2024) 21* with Mitsubishi MMT 70R shaft - this thing is NOT leaving the bag…3 times out with it and just flat out works for me…in several situations. Cleveland HB SOFT Milled 11S with OEM stepless steel and the Lamkin SinkFit Deep V grip that @Spuzz gifted to me…and an aftermarket “Merica” magnetic headcover from Amazon - would take something pretty special to kick this putter out of my bag.
Spuzz VigilanteTrail Lamkin SinkFit Deep V grip that Spuzz gifted to me I would have had to wear this just to box them up.
VigilanteTrail VigilanteTrail would take a PING to kick this putter out of my bag. ⬆️ Fixed my previous post… …Papa D should approve 😆🤣
pellmell toraider Pics please Just a reminder, the members of this forum are geriatric and posting pics is not their strong suit 🙂
Hoss7504 Hoping that sharing my current bag will bring me some good juju for tomorrow (first round of the year): Tour Edge c721 9.5* w/ Hzrdus RDX Smoke black 6.0 60g Rouge ST Max 4W (Ascent 65g S) and 7W (Hzrdus yellow 6.0 70g) Cobra Aerojet 6-PW PX LZ 105 6.0 Cleveland CBX4 49, 54, 58 TM Spider GT Notchback (LH bc I'm weird) And bc I have the extra slot, SMT 0743 forged 60* for tight lie chips and bc it looks sweet Fingers crossed 🤞
rynobucket My ho'ing days seem to be past me, I have made it thru the entire offseason without a golf purchase (luckily Cutter66 has not had one of his sales). In the 2025 bag, and yes I know this is 15 clubs, I keep the Srixon PW in the bag because I would lose it if I didn't: Driver: Ping G400 Max 9* w/Aldila 2kxv Blue 60s Fairway: Tour Edge e722 16.5* w/Aldila Rogue Max 75-s Irons: Srixon z765/565 combo set (3-6 z565 / 7-P z765) w/SteelFiber i95s Wedges: Titleist Vokeys 46/50/54/60 (various models) w/ SteelFiber i95s (46), i110r (50/54/60) Putter: Cleveland Huntington Beach 10.5 w/TigerShark Grip All swing clubs have Pure DTX grips, all irons & wedges are 2* flat. Bag is a Sun Mountain C130S
Walterjn My bag hasn't really changed. Still gaming a Srixon z785 driver 9.5°. Jet black 3 & 5 woods. Callaway VFT Hawkeye irons. LogicAlone wedges 52, 56, & 60. LogicAlone V2 putter. The only change was a loft reduction on the driver. That and I'll be putting bigger grips on most of my clubs.

Or alternate walking. / riding every other hole?
sdandrea1 fatshot As a confirmed walker myself, I understand your desire to walk.....but wouldn't you be better off riding??? Or alternate walking. / riding every other hole? Absolutely! I only walk on Monday when our club is closed (employees are off, so no carts). I ride most all of my full rounds and usually am not the driver, so I get my steps in on flat ground as I can. Maybe next year, post knee replacement, I'll try walking more
KCee sdandrea1 You could try an electric cart, but for me that really only helps on those uphill grinds our course has on the back 9. Downhill is easier on the lungs but harder on the knees and ankles for me.
sdandrea1 KCee You could try an electric cart, but for me that really only helps on those uphill grinds our course has on the back 9. Downhill is easier on the lungs but harder on the knees and ankles for me. The push cart feels weightless to me and I don't notice the hill climbs from a cardio standpoint. The knee just hurts walking downhill......pushing a cart, just walking the dog or unloaded except for my extra weight. We'll see if the brace helps.
