Weirfan Player can still hit a drive a good 250 or so. Really amazing for his age. Tiger can hit it that far kneeling down.

It's all a ruse....just so he doesn't have to play the regular PGA any more. Wait til next season when he starts winning all the Champion's tourneys. 3 rounds, riding carts, smokin seegars....

Given the fragility of his back, and leg, I’m kinda surprised his training involves/incorporates any movement that would place sufficient force on his Achilles to rupture it. There many medications which could also have contributed to making it susceptible.

I had pneumonia and was given Avalox for an antibiotic. I had trouble walking for a few weeks, along with shoulder problems.

Ciprofloxicin here … and tore my bicep tendon off at elbow. The fact that I was also trying to throw about twenty pounds of inch thick rope thirty feet up over a tree branch I needed removed- may have contributed as well. 😇

Some people are just fragile. They don’t look it on the outside, but inside his body could reveal genetic weaknesses.

Just because he could hit the ball far doesn’t mean he was strong. He was quick. Remember how he was a skinny kid but hit it a mile? He added muscle but his bone structure, tendons etc… are those of a skinny kid.

Same here. Two long term doses of Cipro and I partially tore two rotators and a bicep. No surgery recommended,
but two 8 week sessions of PT help avoid the surgery.

No telling what 'meds' Tiger had over the years. 🙄

Increased risk of tendon rupture/damage. This risk is heightened in elderly patients, and in those who take corticosteroids.

Avelox is in that group also, just not listed. I got lucky, but do think it led to my hernia problems.

wasn't informed by my prescribing doc about he dangers. 🤨

Eguller iirc, if you do not join a class action suit, you are still able to sue the individual 'offender'. Time limits do restrict though...3 years, again iirc.

I think the US Adaptive Golf Alliance should be reaching out to Tiger. Definitely some real synergy there.
