Anybody have any silly infomercial clubs laying around that they would be willing to let go cheap? Every spring I have an ocean city golf trip with the boy...

I still have mine.
I got it to use as my desert club and I used it a fair amount when I was out there. Worked great there.
I would never use it to practice off the carpet though.

Par4QC I used a 62 degree wedge ($5 Slotline bought from a bargain bin) for 30 years. I have a very poor sense of touch, lacking distance control, and so I liked it because I could be quite aggressive with it. It's still out in the garage somewhere and the only reason I went away from it was to go to an all graphite shafted bag. Now my lob wedge is 58 degrees.

I currently have a 62° wedge in the bag, but only use it inside 40 yards or so.

Typhoon I think it's sort of an ellipse? At address it looks pretty wide in the middle. I'm sure the premise is that it has less drag during the downswing.

KCee Yyp, now that you mention that shape you are right. I remember a guy that had one a long time ago.

azgreg Those were really nice shafts. But they had to be aligned properly, otherwise they could be total crap.

Stulz also came out with driver heads. I had several(heads & shafts) from a closeout deal.

Surprised nobody said the Alien wedge. My mom had one of those it was hideous. She got out of sand with it though

Typhoon I came across a fella that had a ton of these shafts/heads, for pennies on the dollar. Another time I was able to buy up a ton of the La Jolla heads and Fuji shafts. Fun times.....gone forever apparently. And so are all those components, except the lone La Jolla 400 head I still have.

The Stulz driver heads were beasts, very long hitting. And only 190g..
