Shipping Container Homes
Par4QC They look nice. In pictures. But keep in mind they are very narrow, esp. after putting in insulation and walls. A 1960 mobile home...'trailer' is wider.
I have seen a lot of these built on various shows on TV. They are indeed very unique but most of them spending a lot more than just buying a nicely equipped camper with slideouts or a mobile home. I think some factory build cabins that are delivered to your site are a better buy as well.
Amazon sells a tiny house that looks pretty nice. My first home purchase was a 900 sq ft 2 BR home. 1 bathroom.

Typhoon Ships itself, can't get better than that. Arrange for others to add things inside and it will pay for itself. Even better.

Better yet, put your container home permanently on a flatbed trailer . Time to snow bird, hire out a Cummings diesel tractor/driver.
Typhoon I always liked the show Shipping Wars, can be another couple shows shipping people in their home. What can go wrong?
