Your first mistake was responding to the request for the lower price. Stop wasting yourbtime.
currently I have 6 new in wrapper drivers, 3 new in Wrapper Scotty putters and 6 or 7 new FW woods. Most are listed 200-$300 less than retail .....I get people offering 1/2 even less.
Even though first or 2nd line in my add is Price is Firm and the other is NO TRADES which I get offered all the time.
I currently have 45 listings and probably get 10 stupid questions a day. I NEVER respond if the offer is not what I am asking or they ask a question that the info is listed, and in most cases just block the person so they dont bother me again.
Today I sold a Crown Verity BBQ for $2850 , that was a smooth transaction. We shared about 20 texts .Guy was on time, cash in hand. Sadly, those are the exception vs the rule now.
2 weeks back I had a guy negotiate a deal on a high end expresso machine, agreed on $2000. it works perfectly. He came and I turned it on showing all the bells and whistles worked. It has a braied hose water hook up so couldn't make him a cup of coffee but anyone with a brain could see and hear that it was working. He said i need to take it home to make sure. I said, no problem, leave me a $250 deposit and let me take a copy of your drivers Liscence. He said Oh No I'm not doing that. I said so you are at my house , know where I live but want me to let you take a $4500 item home with you free .....he said yes, I said bye
