SUPER BOWL LIX thread
Not a fair fight!
Even the Cowboys could beat this KC team.

Serious question......where you guys at with Siriani?
MVP should be Eagles front 4 D line, probably be Hurts?
FWIW, I can see how the ref made that first call, fingers in the mask more than once, threw defender off balance. Didn't matter at all in the end.
After that half-time, I vote for going back to marching bands, that was awful.

I knew I'd be glad I missed it. Bring back a decent rock band. Damn pop artists are a constant disappointment.
BTW, worst super bowl in a while. Even Eagles fans might hope for more of a contest. Eeesh.

Honestly, and my granddaughter loves Taylor, but she looked sad.

Was going to like your post until you got to the end. We, Eagles fans enjoyed every great moment.
candukid Where the fuck did KC’s O-line go? Did they switch them out for the local community college guys?
As if Philly’s defensive front had no effect on the outcome?

The defense was suspect for a few downs. Then all of a sudden, BANG!! Someone upstairs had a damn good eye and found an Achilles heel. They beat hell outta Mahomes the rest of the game. I didn't watch the post-game, but those guys should have got the MVP trophy!
KC has some work to do, if they expect to ever get back there again.
BTW...Congrats!!

Nah, we didn't mind watching a game like that. Enjoying a whuppin' was just fine and more enjoyable than typical heart palpitations. Nice effort fella's! Snuffed!

I've needed to re-calculate my assessment. It has changed since the beginning of the season - their first four game. That's when they were out of sync and it was then rectified following their early season bye. Proof's in the pudding and Sirianni's the Head Coach, gets compliments for pulling the whole thing together. Job well done!
Congrats. They were clearly the better team.
Ack8236 MVP should be Eagles front 4 D line,
The morning after, the 'dust' having settled - the Eagles defensive line, all of them were simply dominating! They applied so much pressure on Mahomes, they didn't blitz one single time - a four man rush for the entire team. They dominated! Everyone contributed from other units, defensive linebackers, defensive backfield the offense capitalizing on their defense's effort. KC wanted to and stayed committed to stopping Barkley. Still, they failed to stop Hurts - rushing and passing. Complete game executed.

Instead of heart palpitations, we had the constant drone from Brady about Patrick Mahomes
and the KC offense waking up any second now... Any second now...
An epic beat down of biblical proportions.

Well the GOAT talk comes to an end. Jalen Hurts and company put that to bed decisively last night.
The Eagles defense made the Chiefs offense look like the Jets. Can’t remember a Super Bowl where the front four defensive line dominated the line of scrimmage like the Eagles did.
Mahomes had nowhere to go. Both inside and outside pressure all night long. Very impressive. And Jalen Hurts is one calm and cool QB.
Also, wonder if Kellen Moore rethinks leaving for the Saints job.
