I'm curious. What driver setup are you going to play or consider playing this coming year.
I know its early, but it's golf talk, so.......

PING G430 SFT 10* with Graphite Design AD IZ shaft set to 'O'

I'm sure it will be challenged, but it made it through this past year.

Will probably give both shafts a go in both heads & maybe try another shaft or two this coming season…we shall see

Simulator session today went pretty good…was nice to have 2 uninterrupted hours to evaluate some clubs.

Overall driver combo that won today’s particular shootout?…drum roll…

Cobra LTDx Max set to STD 10.5* with @LogicalOne Leveler…

…but the Aerojet LS 9* set to +1.5 performed pretty damn good also…I was just more consistent with the LTDx Max it seemed…today at least

I still love the HOF Code 5 as it seems to have a touch more kick & feel but it was spinning more, had a higher launch angle and the dispersion was not quite as good as the Leveler for me. See below for dispersion with the LTDx Max/Leveler combo.

@Typhoon the Master Jedi please lemme know if I am on the right track with this combo:

Avg Spin = 2388
Avg Launch = 15.7 deg
Avg Apex = 72 ft

Bear in mind with the pic below that the Sim sure seemed to be registering short damn yardages today…which wasn’t my goal to evaluate today anyhow…but I know damn well these drives were carrying at least 20-25 yards further “for real”…but no matter…I was more concerned about the other #’s…

Right now holding top spot is TM Sim max2. I have a G400 max and paradym in the hopper. I took everyone’s advice here and sold the AI smoke after one round for $400 that I won. I’m glad I did. It was pretty good but not outstanding for me

Where to start...Standard Rotation are

PING G430, 12* turned down with either a Fujikura Ventus Red or Graman Limey in R Flex.

Callaway Rogue ST Max Draw 12* turned down with either LA Golf Trono or Graman Limey in Regular Flex.

Callaway Paradym 12* turned down with a Ventus Blue in R2 Flex.

Last But NOT Least is a Kirkland 10.5* with a FGS Limey in Regular Flex. (Under-rated).

I rarely play with the same set two times in a row. Thus the drivers rotate often...

Trying a Cobra LTDx LS 10.5 degree Tensei AV Raw Blue Stiff.

Current driver is Callaway Epic Speed Triple Diamond LS 9° with either a Tensei CK Orange 50 (stiff) or Accra TZ5 55 (regular) - it's a fairly recent acquisition, so I'm still experimenting with the setup to find what works best. (I also have a Titleist TSr3 9° with a few shafts to choose from - performance is similar to the Callaway, but something about the way that most Titleist drivers look at address doesn't feel right to me.)

I really want to go with my Maltby Max or Tour, but I am most likely going with one of my Cobra Ltdx heads. I have 10.5 in the reg, LS and Max. Going with one of the UST Elements Earth, Wind or Fire shafts. Got a bunch of different weights and flexes from ProClubs for $30 each.

Taki27 Let's compare notes this year with the Cobra LTDx ls heads. I'm hoping for a chance to at least hit it in a simulator, but it hasn't happened, yet.
