Par4QC I sort felt like I channeling some Papa D by getting rid of a head that worked fine. The OG sim had a great muted sound and I hit it great although not the most accurate club. I hate the sliding weight… too easy to tinker with. It was more of a back up driver head. I’m hoping for the same distance but more accuracy with the 2max

Typhoon I hate the sliding weight… too easy to tinker with.

I've yet to find any of the movable weights(stock) that do anything at all.
Exception is Cobra where you can actually change placements of the weights, front to back. Those sliders, or the movable on back only are worthless. Front to back+++!

I make these statements from my use and Jake's use. Huge diff in swingspeeds. Let's make that ...monstrous diff.😄

Par4QC Agree front to back makes a big difference for high and spin. He front Alison weight would only affect left to right. Unless it’s extreme to one side or the other, I could never tell. Problem is I’ll hook a bunch and move it a little to the right. Then I’m hitting it straight but I don’t know if it’s me or the club…. So I keep moving the thing🙄.

Par4QC When I get the new qi35 I’ll have to hit it a bunch of times to see if I want the core or max. I got great numbers from the max and not the core a few weeks ago but they were different shafts and maybe different lofts, didn’t really pay attention. Both heads look exactly the same so that’s nice.

Typhoon I’m playing a Sim 2 max 10.5 right now with the stock r flex made for ventus. I feel like I am in play more better misses. It’s long enough for me. Probably comparable to my g400 max My paradym is the longest of the 3 but for me also the least reliable direction wise. I’m an 11 hcp so take any golf information from me with a grain of salt. Mid to high trajectory similar to the ping. I seem to get less rollout too. Fair trade for me though. I also don’t hit it far. Average 225-240 on a good one. Short and crooked equals double digits hcp lol

bigshank You guys must be taking Pap D’S class on club reviews! Another good one! What you said was what I’ve read from others but you had a little more info. I liked how it was as straight as the g400 max but a little further. That to me says it all and sort of backs up a few videos I watched.

I've seen more Sim2 max heads on the course this past year versus any other head. That could be because it works or people like the light blue perimeter.
It is the only TM head that interests me whatsoever.

I have had one for some time, 10.5. I usually keep it set at 11.5. I decided to try another shaft with excellent results. I changed the regular flex red ventus shaft to a Fujikura Speeder Senior flex and got more distance over my G400 Max which I sold back to the Buzzer (jsippy73) I purchased it from. My Sim Max 2 D was recently demoted to Bag #2. It was replaced with a Titleist TSR 1 12* driver with the Mitsubishi Speed Mesh senior flex shaft which is slightly longer.

Hammer4413 mine is the blue ventus. I wonder if the only difference is color being they aren’t real ventus. My swing seems to match up well with the not real ventus blue.

sdandrea1 yeah probably accurate statement lol. I have a little bit of hope this year. Put a simulator in my garage a while back and playing on it 3 or 4 times a week. Seems to be working. Ball striking seems to be improving. My goal was to hit a straighter ball flight and get rid of the hook. Need weather to get better for real world evidence on that though. But for sure I will never again be bombing it or be in need of one of those $300 bomber shafts. That was 25 years ago

Tonite I hit it and it’s sooo much better than th ping g430 max 10k. Accuracy is like my Ping G400 max. Distance was great as well… on par with my OG Sim…but more accurate. Just what I was looking for.

The odd part was the Paderson I used in the OG Sim was spinning way too much in this head. I hit the watered down Stock Ventus Blue as well and got much better spin numbers. I have other shafts to try but the stock shaft is really good. Pleased with this trade.

Great!! I love my SimMax 2 driver. I have the D version.
