My experience with this driver echoes much of you, Kcee and Typhoon say. It was recommended by Typhoon to me as the best driver at curing or minimizing hitting any balls right. He was correct. In fact, if I hit one right with it, it would be only a minor push/fade. You can easily overcook it left though and like Kevin my 10 degree would often be hit too low. Raising the loft I hook it too much. Working on things now so I am able to not need as much equipment assist to avoid the right side. But it will remain in my arsenal to be used if all else fails. So I entirely agree, it is the best driver at slice correction I have ever come across.

Might be too much correction for me, actually. I'm going to Florida in February where it will get a multiple round try out.

I’ll look today at the place I go. It anyone is over hooking now…. How about a little lead tape on the toe.

Also look at your set up. For some people they have been trying to correct “the rights” for years by altering their set up ie: closing shoulders, closing stance. Get your shoulders squared up and feet as well, flare out that left foot a lot to get the hips through faster.

Can't speak for the others with the problem, but for me I've not changed anything since golfing with Hammurabi.

The 400 SFT must be 'just another' gen of the Ping Sf Tec. I've had the G30 SF Tec and now have the G SF Tec, and both are as is being described above...dead straight(and long) with a bit lower flight, with some 'lefts' thrown in occasionally. But, I get those lefts from all my drivers, at least once per round. It comes from those 'kill the ball' swings, when you have a wide-open FW.

Confidence in a driver is sometimes not so good.😉

The closed shoulders and stance is exactly what I have adopted for years to alleviate the ball going right in hopes of a draw. You are correct, that less of that is necessary with the SFT. What you then describe and suggest is what I am also working on. Sometimes, I think you are a swing whisperer or have a crystal ball, seeing what some of us do.

I've always found it nearly impossible to hook a 460cc driver. The pull draw on the other hand was quite easy with the G400SFT. My best drivers are usually a bit OTT fade and it was tough to do that with the G400SFT so it didn't stay in my bag even though it is a fantastic head. I've liked the last 2 Cally drivers as they surely have some draw bias, but still allow for that bit of fade. The Rogue ST Max was definitely a weapon for me and I sort of regret trading it in for the Ai Smoke Max.

When I was with Ping I’d tell people if one goes way left it probably wasn’t one that was going to go to he right with a standard driver. If you hit 9/10 to the right and one down the left side with a standard driver,!the Ping would be 9/10 in the fairway and one waaay left.

Whenever I’ve hit one, and I don’t have the rights, I’d aim right rough line knowing a push is right rough but everything else is fairway or just left rough
