I like the Greenworks stuff I have: Chainsaw & weed whacker, so I would probably try their snow blower. Makes sense if you can have multiple batteries or just buy the tool without a battery. I'm guessing you won't be using the leaf blower and snow blower in the same day.....although in New England that could be possible 😞

I just borrowed my neighbor's Snow Joe 48v. Did half the job and is recharging. Works well!

sdandrea1 That’s probably what I have. One battery. I’ll take a pic. I do both decks and a driveway that will hold cars 3 across and 3 down. Lasts over an hour

LBlack14 I just told the Mrs. that this corded blower was the biggest mistake of my life.

I thought you got a cordless one a couple of years ago but I see you got the corded Snow Joe. I had a corded one and it did ok. You just have to start by the garage in the middle of the driveway and make singe passes away from the garage and away from the cord. I now have a cordless Worx blower that uses the same batteries as all of my other Worx brand tools, I think I have 8 of the 4.0mah and 3 2.0mah batts.

Par4QC I've always been a big fan of The Armstrong snow removal system. It's been perfected through decades of use and leaves a much cleaner area than any mechanical snow removal system

The Armstrong system works well when the total system is newer but is less effective when other parts start to get old and broken.

I like Greenworks products. Make sure that the batteries that the snow blower uses is the same as the ones you already have in both voltage and amp hour rating. You want to have enough battery(ies) to complete the task at hand without having to stop and wait for batteries to recharge.

You might want to check the battery prices. The OEM Greenworks batteries are pretty pricey. Also I saw a few of the Greenworks snow blowers that came with a single 2.0 mah battery. Mo' mah, mo poon. 😜

I don't think buying a corded snow blower would be a good idea. I don't have a generator and if I need a snow blower I might not have electricity at the house.

No cord or batteries required. Mount on 2" receiver hitch, front or rear. Pushes only going forward, cannot drag. No hydraulics or electrics needed. Floats with rubber bottom. Can push snow right into your yard and will not tear up the grass. Had mine for 15 years or more. Nothing to wear out or malfunction.

It's on the rear and you cannot go forward using it there. Thus you'd be dragging it.

Par4QC You manually drop it into position, it is very light. It rolls up some when backing up. Mine is on the front of an old S10 blazer. Front mount is a lot easier to use and see what you are doing.

Obviously not for commercial use. Limited by not being able to drag snow back. It works for me because I can go into my yard and plow across the front of my garage.
