Typhoon has been around since at least 2012. It’s called the Mizuno Shaft optimizer. You used to put a clip on the shaft and hit 3 shots
I used that ~ 15 years ago. With my swing (90 mph with driver) it recommended stiff in heavy steel. Had elbow issues so that was a nonstarter.
Ended up with Ping G15’s in stock graphite regular. Shot my best round evah at my home course Fox Hollow. Shot an even par 71.
Anyway, then the fitters (there were two of them) had me use a lie board and told me I needed 1 / 1/2” over length and maroon dot which I believe is 4 1/2” upright.
Called Ping and told the woman and she asked me what my ball flight is with the clubs I had. Told her that I could miss left or right, but never put too much curve on the ball.
She recommended just use the Ping static fitting chart. Ended up with 1/4” over and green dot (2* up). And never looked back.
