Typhoon because they know I’ll throw people off the course

How do you actually do that? I understand you'd tell them to leave after warning them to behave, but what happens when the drunken hooligans/shooters refuse to leave? Can you shoot them? You'd only have to do it once.

sdandrea1 Can you shoot them? You'd only have to do it once.

Maybe twice. Gotta get them to understand that it's not just a 1 time thing.
Maybe only sell them 4 beers before the round, then another 4 at the turn.
Catch them drinking anything you don't sell, THEN kick them off the course. Them suppling alcohol you don't sell them cal effect your liquor license.
I know, none of this will EVER be implemented, unfortunately.

That's why I say marshall's are nothing but a joke. There is not 1 damn thing they can do to make any player leave.
As an employee of the course, with the rights, they can order them to leave. Then when they refuse, or laugh in their faces as they do at John's place, there is only 1 thing can be done. Call the police and have them arrested for trespassing.
It becomes illegal to be on the property when they have been ordered off.
Now, the point is....who has the authority to call police/press charges?

Not going to happen unless property damage has been done.

And if any marshall should put hands on any player, then they are subject to arrest and course is subject to lawsuit.

Said marshall is also open to death/dismemberment/disfigurement, etc.. Also an expense the course would not want to incur.
    😂

discalimer: I am not an attorney, by choice. But I do have a PhD. in common sense.

sdandrea1 I’ve actually told people they have to either skip a couple holes to catch up or be done, we’re getting too many complaints.

Nobody puts up a fight..I laugh because they act all tough and say, “ f this place, it’s a shithole anyway, we usually place somewhere nicer, we’re outta here”. Always something like that where they act rough in front of their friends. Or the owner who is a big crazy dude comes out and tells them to get out of the carts and we’ll drive them to the parking lot…. Nobody messes with him.

sdandrea1 Here again I'm not trained in the field, but my opinion is that would be based on desire and hate, and just how mouthy that drunk bastard was.
        So, it will vary, person-person.

        😄

Typhoon Nice “trash can”🙄. They meant well…

You're kidding. The sleeves are taken out, for this reason. They fill em up. They also throw them on the cart paths, where there's no can at all. The golf course is private property. They go out of their way to get to those cans.

sdandrea1 met, he's a Marshall, should have a SAA on his hip, preferably tied a little low.😉
Just make sure he's got a badge as well.

LBlack14 Looks like they just don’t pay attention… they think it’s a whole can.

You should see the amount of beer cans in our woods . We would need 5 trash cans on every hole but that still might not matter.

Our owner’s quote is “If Budweiser put flowers on their cans I’d have the prettiest golf course in America.”

Was in NYC with the kids yesterday. Can the groups of 25 year old well to do women stop casually dropping f-bombs every third word in front of my kids? I get that you’ll have to live with the crazy and homeless folks muttering obscenities, but the amount of well dressed young “ladies” in places like Sack’s, Bryant Park Christmas Market and yes, even St. Patrick’s Cathedral loudly and CONSTANTLY using the f word like they’ve got no f’s to give was jarring.

Typhoon I should have my wife contribute to this thread but the site would crash

                🤣🤣🤣🤣

We could eliminate complaints about you as a topic. We should be ok, then.😉

I think offensive holding and defensive pass interference should be legalized in the NFL. It happens on most plays and is only randomly called. This would take a lot of criticism off the refs and move the games along quicker. And fans would have fewer complaints. Genius.
