Par4QC Hahaha…. I had an Aluminum shaft in my very first Spaulding sand wedge when I was 10 or 11. I still remember getting it…. My first club from outside the set and knowing I needed one.

Par4QC He'll just come along and say 'aluminum' shafts??

My first 2 sets of irons had aluminum shafts. They were Ram Gene Littler brand that I bought at Austad's Golf
in Sioux Falls, SD. I liked them.

Got home with a bottle of Smucker's grape jelly. Took off the cap to remove the seal. Had to use a pair of needle-nose pliers to remove the damned thing. It's the same with mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, etc.

I'm tired of this shit.

ohphuck........this may well be my last post.

    I got Welch's.

It had no seal inside the lid. 😲

Automobile manufacturers should just go ahead and hide the damned hood release latch somewhere underneath the chassis and be done with it.

I wrenched my back today simply trying to pop the damned hood while at the Kwik Lube. Why must shit be so difficult?

PA-PLAYA Why must shit be so difficult?

The manufacturers have colluded with the repair industry. They made it so hard to find a hood latch, weaker humans will cave in and take the car to a shop. My conspiracy theory.

PA-PLAYA Why must shit be so difficult?

Oh and don't forget that on some cars, once you pop the release hatch in the cabin, THEN the fun begins while you cram your fingers under the partially-opened hood searching for the SECOND hood release. 😑🀬

Walterjn was it vacuum sealed? Did it make a sucking pop noise??

That was the noise his arse made just when it popped loose. Happens to me all the time.

If you didn't doodie your pants in the process consider it to be a good day. 😜

sdandrea1 searching for the SECOND hood release

If you've ever seen a hood pop open on the highway you'll understand why there needs to be a backup. I was driving to work near the airport in St. Louis a long time ago when a car in front of me had the hood spring open and slam back over their windshield - and then it popped off and flew about 40 feet into the air spiraling back down frisbee style to the highway as my car scooted under it and the guy behind me ran over it. Very bizarre and highly dangerous.

sdandrea1 Me too! It's not logical, but is somehow the natural order in the behavior of man and probably linked to his superiority in some way.

johnnydoom saw that happen a couple years ago. Car in the lane to my right had the hood pop at about 65-70 mph. Driver kept her cool, slowed down, and pulled over between traffic lanes, and off ramp. Pretty sure she probably shit herself, I sure would have!!
