Wife got an Apple computer for Christmas. Went and bought a mouse from Best Buy. Finally got around to getting the computer going etc..
Computer works fine, but the mouse isn’t. Won’t scroll. Take it back to Best Buy and the two week window for returns expired. What happened to 30 days? 😏
Told us we could take it back to the Apple Store in Tampa. So we made an appointment for today. The Apple tech guy tests the mouse and confirms it’s defective.
Says they’d have a new one sent to the store in a couple of days. I said you have a bunch over there on the shelf. He said because we didn’t buy the mouse directly from Apple they couldn’t do that.🙄
So now we have to go back to Tampa next week and pick up the new mouse. Seems absolutely insane. I asked the Apple guy does this make any sense to you? He seemed unfazed by the ridiculousness of this.
So we’ll go back into Tampa next Saturday and get her new mouse. The only good thing is we have a gift card to The Cheesecake Factory which we used some of today.👍
