ode Walterjn I got to see a vid of this. I have seen it done on TGC late at night when the cast is on site waxing poetic about the day when at .major venues, but that is about it. Typically several guys humming along with what look like a push mower meets a fertilizer gizmo.
Walterjn LBlack14 we do roll them, just not cut them. I believe they roll about a 10 at the highest, which is good when there is NOT a flat green on the course.

Walterjn LBlack14 we have 2 old Toro groundsmaster 1000 walk mowers. We've been able to keep them running and sharp. We also have 2 Toro triplex mowers, and a pair of John Deere fairway mowers with 5 reels each. It's a good thing we have a reel grinder along with a bed knife grinder.
bigshank Bought a high powered gaming computer to run my simulator. I’ll have a couple weeks off for Christmas so shooting for having everything cleaned and cleared out and be playing on it around Christmas. My wife keeps putting shit in there looks like a grenade went off
Typhoon bigshank Yeah… I hear ya. A few years ago she bought me a Birdie Ball putting mat. Used it 2 winters now she has an old desk there. So I set up a putting cup along the front of a couch… 6 footers… well there are now her Christmas boxes and crap blocking everything. And I have to plug on phone somewhere else because I can’t reach the cord with all her shit in the way.
Walterjn colej they are. When reels need to be ground, I'm the one who helps the old guy do the work.
colej Walterjn It’s all about the setup. Make sure you have no play in those bearings as well. You set it up perfect, grind plenty of relief in, and you’ll be successful.
