Par4QC Oh God… don’t know what reviews you are reading but almost every review I’ve ever seen mentions how much better the sound is in the 430 vs 425. The 425 was a great head but the sound… my God… I had the LST for a short while. The sound was loud, remanded me if the Cobra F-Speed driver that was black with the red border.
To deaden the sound see if the one of the empty screw positions goes through into the head ( doubtful) and thread some yarn in there. Only problem if you can do that it Ping heads are already heavy. In that case you might think of going with a lighter backweight, but then the issue is a less forgiving clubhead with a lighter backweight.
In the long run, either wear foam ear plugs or sell it
