I don't eat much steak ( maybe 2-3 x a year) nor red meat these days. Not that I don't enjoy it but tend to eat more chicken and fish and pasta, rice, beans.
that said am invited for dinner tomorrow night and steak will be served.
When I do make steak it has to be pan fried with only salt and pepper as seasonings then at the end baste with some hot melted butter and herbs. I also like to melt Blue cheese on top and of course cannot have steak without a nice robust glass of red wine
