2" is too big IMO.

SMT Do you feel there might be a market for a 2" metal embossed ball marker that can be made emblazoned with your choice of design on both sides?

I may be the only one who thinks this way, but I don't see the point in spending money on a ball marker when a small coin does the job perfectly well (and better than the poker chip-type markers that I see some others using). To my mind, a 2" diameter disc isn't really fit for purpose - it's far bigger than you need to mark a golf ball.

(Just my opinion, though, and I'm sure that there are many out there who will disagree.)

Unless it was something with special meaning for me I don't think I would use a ball marker that large.

I wear my ball marker on a magnetic hat clip so 2 inches would be way too big. lol I have a New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox that I usually use. I also have some from courses that I've been to. Turtle Bay is one.

I also flip the marker over when moving it so I remember to move it back. A 2 inch ball marker wouldn't necessarily bother me though if someone in my group used one.

Sneakylong I where my ball marker on a magnetic hat clip so 2 inches would be way too big.

My fav is also the magnetic hat clip. I kept loosing the markers for some reason so I took a metal octagonal electrical box I had that had a bunch of knockouts. I spray painted those bright yellow and they worked perfectly with the magnetic clip. One of my favorities was a putter grip that had a magnet built into the end of it. Just pull out your putter and it was there. Even easier than the hat clip.

Personally I hate the bit 2" inch chip markers. Too often balls hit them and they alter the direction of the ball.

To kind of echo the prior comments, I think a 2 inch marker is too big for most people to use. I use one of the NHL poker chips, but there is a smaller marker, maybe the size of a nickel in the middle that pops out. I always just pop that small one out because the poker chip is too big.

2" diameter is large for a ball marker. But people do use them. Not me, but some do.

I bought a US Open "Mondo Mark" this past year and it's big, but I just checked and it's the same size as a poker chip and I cannot imagine using one larger.
