Shaft specs?

Just curious if any of you geezers know the specs of this shaft (True Temper Dynamic S). I am assuming they are similar to dynamic golds. I pulled out my old titleist tour models yesterday and had a very enjoyable round and actually hit them extremely well considering they are quite the opposite of my wishon single lengths. Anyways, just curious as these irons are from the late 80's or early 90's i think and I don't know much about equipment from that era. Thanks!

Nor do I when it comes to Titleist. I like the looks of that head. 👍

shokosugi I couldn't tell exactly from your photo but that head looks like a Titleist 1979-80 Tour Model. As to the Dynamic steel shaft you can identify by measuring steps. Dynamics are just not as close a weight tolerance as Dynamic Golds but it doesn't make them inferior shafts. Back in the day we used to purchase cases of 50 and weight sort. You probably like the stiffer tip shaft profile and the heavier/heft with that balance point. Swing weight scales were designed by Kenneth Smith for the TT Dynamic in heft match.

BTW if that is a Tour Model late 70's early 80's head that set had a 30* 5 iron and a 49* PW. ☺

Yeah, I like them too. Every now and then my buddies and I change things up for our weekly game - sometimes we have a 6 or 7 club challenge, irons only day, left handed putter day and yesterday was old school blades day. I got lucky with these particular blades as I bought a few sets of old clubs locally for $20 each and this one happened to be 1" overlength (which is my preferred setup). The crazy thing is that it was missing the 8 iron when I got it and it took me a couple of years to find the single 8 iron on ebay and it turned out to be 1" overlength too!

Thanks. Those lofts seem about right as they were about 1-1.5 clubs shorter than my gamers mostly due to the loft differences i would imagine. As a DG x100 guy, these shafts felt good, maybe a little softer and higher launching but not too different overall. Looking forward to my next round with these beauties!

This is an 86 model. Starting late 70's Titilest used all sorts of different nomenclature. Basic design always stayed the same along with lofts until the late 80's. The thinner sole is it's redeeming quality for pickers. But this thread is about the shaft TT Dynamic. ☺

And these Tour Model irons came with the Dynamic and the Dynamic Gold. So cannot be the same shaft.
