Rickochet I agree 100% Rick… it’s like a Pirate Ship there. The pros don’t like confrontation, even if it happens to be a 14 year kid so it’s a zoo. When I work, I give people crap, make them throw out their trash, pay for carts etc..
Yesterday one of those kids, not the member the other one, comes into the shop before I came in. He says to the other guy working, “I found this range basket in the woods, will you give me money for it?” Our guy says no, it’s our bucket. The kid argues with him that he found it and he was going to keep it unless we gave him something for it. So our guy says” go to the range maybe they’ll give you free balls.
If it was me, I would have said.” Thank you, I appreciate it.” When the kid said he wanted something for it I would have taken it from him and said “ you can do the right thing and not think you’re entitled to a prize.. now get the fuck outta here and don’t come back again.”
Nobody “finds” range baskets in the woods. He wasn’t even out playing. He took it from the range and walked into the pro shop with it.
