Woman comes in and says her son left his clubs at the range yesterday and she was looking for them. I get her in the cart and drive over to where the range is. I ask her how he left his clubs there…. Didn’t he notice he didn’t have his bag? She said she didn’t know, he was with his father. I said, neither one of them noticed?
I check everywhere… nothing. He tells her over the phone he left them in one of the stalls or by the putting green, couldn’t remember. Now there is a junior clinic going on and they are using most of the range. I look in every stall. Nothing. I ask one of the women running the clinic and she saw clubs on a table at the school but thinks someone is using them. A lot of the little kids don’t have clubs. So 10 minutes into this she tells me….
Her kid is 6’10”.
. Now, I’m thinking he’s a kid, she says nothing when I’m shaking down 5 year olds and their clubs. Then she tells me they are PXG 5,7 and 9 irons only, no bag. Again…
Never found them.
Guy comes in has a 10:20 tee time. Comes early to pick up rentals to go to the range. Guy talks like like he’s punch drunk. Real dummy…. Asks how to get to the range. Pro tells him and the guy says.” I gutta walk?” Pro says “yes, do you know if your group is walking or riding?” Guys said “I know nuthin, they told me to go play golf”. So he walks out of the pro shop muttering that he has to walk to the range…. ( 2 minute walk)
Guy comes back 5 minutes later. Walks in the shop, puts the clubs against the coffee maker , takes his shirt off and throws it at the pro 
. He says.” I put money in the machine and nuthin came out and the girl up there said I couldn’t hit where I wanted I had to go to another spot”. Pro says, the only girl up there is running a junior clinic so she probably told you you couldn’t hit in the middle of the kids in the clinic… those mats are reserved. Guy turns around and walks out just wearing his wife beater, covered in tattoos doing his tough guy walk.
