A few years ago, the LaCosta resort in San Diego brought a group of 12 of us from Greenskeeper.org out for a free round to test out and review their two new rides. One was a scooter type where you stood on it and leaned - like a giant Razor scooter. Second was a fat bike. Both were made for golf, so they had good bag holders. We each got one for 9 holes, and then switched to the other for the back 9.
The scooter was a workout. So many little weight shifts and leans - we all ached a bit after the scooter 9.
The bike was an absolute blast. So easy to ride around a golf course. One of our older gents did take too much speed down a path and crashed - he was not happy.
I was hoping the bikes would take off. They didn't.
I was hoping the scooters would not take off. That one turned out correct.
