Par4QC I once bought some tomatoes in the grocery store, 'just to see'. Good grief. Fine if one likes white tomatoes, with no taste.

You need to get the ones grown in Mexico that are fertilized with human crap. 🤪

Oooh man. The White Castle double cheeseburger is my fav. They do give me a wee bit of gas. 😜

Someone had to post the word "chili." So now is just finished browning 6lbs. of ground beef and have a big pot of chili simmering on the stove as we speak. We will have it for lunch for several days then freeze the rest in lunch size containers and eat on it for weeks. We enjoy chili year round. And it has beans in it and spaghetti. 😜

Par4QC There is a place here that sells hot dogs and frozen custard, which I think is odd for a small town. No desire for a chili dog, easy pass. However, hot dog and Miracle Whip may be worth trying😎

I love beans in my chili but not on my chili dog. Now using beans poured over an open faced two patty cheese burger is great. There was a little cafe we used to go to for a quick lunch that called this a chili size. It was a big seller for them.

Had a chili dog on Saturday. It started off life as a polish dog, then gor some chili, onions, and tomato very tasty!!

This thread made me hungry for Chili dogs!! So, we grilled 'em up for supper tonight.....Chili dogs, sauce (NO beans!), onions, baked beans, corn-on-the-cob. Happy Labor Day!!!!

Went out to play 18 and when we walked up to the clubhouse, there was box of tomatoes sitting on a bench. Red as red can be. I inquired inside about them and was told.....'free, take what you want'!😲
I am very mindful of my upbringing and how we had little at times, but never be a hog, so I did only take 3 as they were not of the large variety.
And as I type this, I am in process of consumption of said items. 😄

I may need to play golf again tomorrow.

It's getting on to the end of tomato season. BLT's are on the menu this weak. Yum, bacon and tomatoes require mayonnaise!

I had chili dogs last week. Spicy chili w/t beans and Mexican blend cheese. Damn good. Enchiladas last night.
