I’m in the same camp as almost everyone else here. But over the years, there’s always been someone or other in my playing circles who has about the same talent as me, maybe slightly better, who is always going at the pin. And makes a lot more birdies than me. One thing for sure, it requires a good short game.
The team game I play in has a birdie bonus. I’m going to start reducing the margin I’m allowing, and see what happens.
