Bravopilot Are the 5-series newer/older than the 7-series?

Pretty sure the Hot Launch E500 series are the most forgiving, offset, low COG, etc. The Hot Launch C500 series are not offset but forgiving. The 700 series (Exotics) are more "standard" shaped, players clubs.

E521 older than E522, then E523, etc.

Guy near me selling a TM Spider Tour putter with the neck I like. Sole has the paint worn ofd but for $50 who cares. No headcover but I have a few in Lost and Found.

I’ve got a set of Paderson Kinetixx shafts looking for some heads. I’m a sweeper with a poor AOA (neutral at best) so I need something with a thin sole, low VCOG, and forgiveness. I know Maltby’s got stuff to fit the bill but at $50 plus a head for the forged stuff, I’d rather get some used OEMs. Plus on these higher end shafts, I don’t wanna go too cheap with a KE S or Tour type head with little resale value.

My internetting leads me to believe some Ping S58’s may be just what the doctor ordered. Any experience with them or sets floating around?

Those PING heads are sweet. Be a nice matchup with the Padersons. Are those shafts.355T ? The heads are, unless they've been reamed. I wouldn't characterize them as "forgiving" as they are in the smallest PING category.

I demoed a Ai Smoke Max 5w the other day and it was as long as my Mavrik Max 3w. Serious rocket launcher. Only negatives were the 65g shaft (still hit it well) and $350 price tag. I suppose since drivers are $600 that is a fair price. Sadly I only have like $50 in Pro Shop credit left. Not sure it would solve my problem either as I'm hitting the 3w thru some doglegs so I would still be too long. They didn't have a 7w to demo 😞

KCee I sold my Smoke 3 wd. a couple weeks ago. It was no better than my Paradym 3. I did not have the Max model in either though. Might be that the 5's are much way.
I do have the Paradym 5 and it is the best 5 I've ever had. Almost as long as the 3 in fact.(for me) Never tried the Smoke 5. No need for it. IYKWIM

Decided to order up a driving iron head and give it a shot in the bag in lieu of hybrid…came to this decision after putting the Ping iE1 4 & 5 iron back into my bag a few rounds ago and hitting them so well…

A regular playing partner of mine who is a 1 handicap recently joked “We have played together plenty enough that I know your damn game Bob…you are an iron player…so just play your game”

We’ll see how it works out…

Par4QC Maybe I will try a Paradym. I can get one from CPO for a LOT less than a new Ai Smoke. If it doesn't work I guess I can trade it in for the Smoke this winter lol.

These look to be a bit of a unicorn. 🦄. Old Ralph has them in the SGI category, if you believe in that sort of thing.

colej Dude? Really? Just built my TS4 irons. Of course, I was wondering if I should have gone TS1-IM instead. However, I will be strong and ride out the TS4 for a while (at least that’s my plan for now 😂)
