That is some balance right there.
NCAA tournament knock-out pool--any interest?
If the NCAA/NBA joined forces and came out with a much-needed rule stating that a new recruit has to spend at least 3 years in college before turning professional - you'd see a lot less parity imo.
So although I personally loath this one-and-done bullshit era, it has ultimately made the NCAA tournament a lot more unpredictable.

I'm fine with it....sometimes it works out for these kids and sometimes it doesn't (1 and done or leaving early at all).....$ is hard to pass up especially if you have nothing growing up. Bottom line to me is you can't fuck up college basketball, the formula is just to damned bullet proof. IMO the way to get more players to stay is to pay them. I'm against it because it would lead to more problems and would favor the schools who bring in the most $.....and some schools simply wouldn't be able to do it financially. It wouldn't prevent the guys who are bound and determined, but you'd keep some guys....and let's face it, a few are ready and don't need college.

I'm thinking they were DQ'd because of submitting an incorrect scorecard
Oregon for me.
Arizona for me in Round 3
I'm going to roll with Michigan... although my back is getting a little stiff and having trouble activating my glutes

Between going safe, if there is such a thing or picking with who I want to win. There is only 1 game where I feel reasonably certain who will win and that is Kansas over Purdue. With the way this tournament has gone, I probably just jinxed that. I'd like to see all upsets, except Gonzaga...I'd like to see them face Wisconsin in the f4, with the other game being Michigan vs. UCLA.....to me that would be a kick ass final 4. There is real potential for some kick ass games in the elite 8....Kansas/Michigan, UCLA/UNC, Gonzaga/Arizona, and the East matchup will be the step child in that line up, but hell, even Wisconsin/S. Carolina would be a helluva game IMO.....not suggesting that's what they will be, but those games would be insane if it played out that way!
ode I will probably have to switch back to just adding seed numbers, but for fun I was messing with making it like a golf tournament. So for the first round, there were four groups of sixteen teams, seeded 1-16. Eight is near the middle, so I called that even par. If you picked a 5-seed and they won, you were 3 over. If you picked an 8-seed, you were even. If you picked a 12-seed, you were 4 under, etc.
Four the round of 32, there are only 8 teams in each regional. I called a 4-seed even, 6-seed 2 under, etc.
Don't worry. I'll go back to adding seed numbers, and I'll double-check to make sure I got all the numbers right. The system I was messing with be becomes completely untenable in the next round.
My wife has been really sick and was hospitalized Sunday morning and I just brought her home late this evening, so I've been distracted, too. But I have all your picks written down and I'll fix it. Sorry for the confusion.

Yeah, I can see why Natpharm would favor the current standings, which I messed up completely.
Here's the actual leaderboard:
Spartan 18
ode 15
azgreg 14
Mike, Natpharm 13
hoss 12
How is Spartan still in? I thought he got knocked out?
