Chris's opening act was "attention catching" whether you like it or not. But it served it's purpose of stirring up the audience and catch their attention. You hate it or love it or don't really care.
However, if one paid attention for the whole show, Chis's act turned a corner to a fair and even ground. Instead of just complain , complain and cried about it, he touch a few points which my family agreed. Sometimes the joke has several layers, you have to understand to enjoy it.
Anyway, we also found the President of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Cheryl Boone Isaacs, made an appearance at the award presentation to carry a message ( not the speech itself ) .
So don't just read the first part of the page, it gets interesting toward the second half.
