I still hit long irons better and more consistent than hybrids. This is more a hybrid iron anyway, just like the G2 HL.

Unfortunately I couldn't find one, only Type-S head I found was a LH 4i. I know I have a box of old 2 iron heads sitting around somewhere, but I just moved into a new (bigger) shop and I'm still trying to figure out where the hell everything is. I lost my grip removal tool during the move too, and I've had that thing for 15 years and have never found another one like it or as good as it. Hopefully it'll turn up sooner or later. 🙁

I'll keep looking and let you know if I find it, because I'm pretty sure there's a Type-S 2i in that box.

Found my box of 2i heads, but unfortunately no Type-S #2. The closest I have is a P2G HL head which is also a Ping G2 clone and is nearly identical to the Type-S with the super wide sole and short face. Here are a few pics if you're interested, it measures out to about 17.5°. You can have the head for free if you want it, just pay for shipping. Head is new and has never been hit, but it looks like it was shafted at one point and has some shop wear on it from sitting in a box for the past 10+ years. LOL.

Sorry, just now checking back in on this. Kids have been out of school on spring break for the past few weeks so free time has been scarce between work, camps, vacation, etc.

I looked up shipping and a small flat rate box is $7.15 (didn't this used to be like $5??) It might be a buck or two cheaper to ship it 1st class, but then I need to drive to the post office & wait in line....no thanks. I'd rather just print it out and leave it in my box for my mailman to pick up.

customgolfcenter FYI....you can use PayPal Shipping and ship 1st class as long as you can calculate the weight accurately, you get the same kind of label as priority with a tracking # too, but no insurance included in the price (of course you could buy insurance, but that defeats the purpose in this scenario). Look over to the left on the account overview page and click OK now multi order shipping.....it's a but tedious until you do it a few timespecially and get the hang of it......same price as when someone pays u out and you create a label directly thru the payment received in pp.
