rsvman2 sdandrea1 Prolly true. He's a great golf course architect, though. Payne's Valley and Bluejack National are both epic courses. I hope he will design a bunch more.
fatshot Meanwhile....at Valhala......Justin Thomas is 9 under (despite wearing the ugliest pants in the world!), Shane Lowrey (who never does anything when I pick him!) is 12 under, Rory is 4 under today, Justin Rose is 5 under today, just to name a few......But then Scotty is going the other way!!!! All Hell is breaking loose today!!!!!!!
rsvman2 ode Exactly. They show him hit a shlt from behind the trees. Do we get to see his tee shot on the next hole? Of course not. And, as usual, far roo much putting ans not enough full shots.
rsvman2 raggmann54 Probably true. If Bryson plays well and ends up among the top three or four tomorrow, though, or in the lead, they won't have a choice. It would be hard to not show the leader or somebody within a stroke or two.
ode raggmann54 possibly....as well as non-star/needle mover types like Bob Macintyre. PGA event coverage has always sucked. Show the damn golf!
johnnydoom raggmann54 Very likely true. The LIV players don’t have a lot of the heavyweight tour sponsors and I assume that those paying the bills want their product reps and logos on screen as much as possible.
darpar Should be a wild finish tomorrow, I'm changing my pick to Bryson. Seems like this track should favor the longest hitters.
fatshot Walterjn all the stress finally catching up to him?? Maybe.....he (Scheffler) has had a lot of things happen to him (golf and otherwise) in the last month or so, so I guess we have to expect him to stumble once in a while. Long streak of sub-par rounds he broke today though!!
Walterjn rsvman2 he's at 2 strokes behind 1st place right now. Be really nice to see the coverage tomorrow...
rsvman2 ode Agree. Way too many putts and not enough full shots. And on Sundays, especially, way too much focusing on two or maybe three guys at the expense of all the other players. I tune into golf tournaments to see golf. Show us the golf, for crying out loud.
Spuzz johnnydoom I assume that those paying the bills want their product reps and logos on screen as much as possible. Maybe, but I think it's pure pettiness.
johnnydoom Spuzz I assume the political views of the network management probably, and happily (from their perspective), coincides with the sponsors, but money would win in the end even if it didn’t.
DonM johnnydoom To the PGA networks, LIV is a competing product. Today will be enlightening, if Bryson stays in the hunt.
