Can anyone offer a comparison between the Cobra Fly Z XL irons and the Cobra Baffler irons (not XL)
Thanks,
Chuck

Same category Chuck - Max Game Improvement irons. If you mean by Baffler, the red-trimmed ones, then I liked my Fly Z XL set better, just from sole design and look at address. The FlyZ XL look more like golf clubs and less like shovels than the Baffler. Performance was identical to me. High and straight, ultr-forgiving. Check the loft specs - I'm betting they are similar. The Fly Z XL is just a better looking club IMHO, with a smooth sole.

I looked hard at the Fly Z XL's a month or so ago and I worried that the hybrids maybe had too much offset for me. For some reason I like hybrids that set up quite square with not much offset and these just looked more offset than I'd like. I didn't check the specs to verify they were too offset because I just liked the looks of the regular Fly Z's and the King F6's better. It ended up that I didn't buy any of them (so far). I decided to play the Adams New Ideas that I just converted to all graphite shafts first to see how they would work/feel.
